Kirsten Vangsness is an American actor since the early 1990s. Her most notable role was as Penelope Garcia, in the acclaimed police procedural crime series Criminal Minds. She has also appeared in its two spin-off shows "Criminal minds: Suspect Behavior' and 'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.' Kirsten Vangsness has been featured in other TV programs also. While she is primarily acting on TV shows but she also has played a few small roles in films since making her debut in the show business in 1998. Her most notable work in the field of film include the roles she played in 'In My Dream The Chicago 8', and 'Kill Me, Deadly'. She's also written pieces in The Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes of "Criminal Minds". She's a huge animal lover particularly cats. Her passion is rescuing and rehabbing injured or abandoned cats.
