DMX was an American performer, songwriter, and actor who started rapping in the early 1990s and launched his debut album It's Dark and Hell Is Hot on May 19 1998. In the following years, he also released other albums, including ... And Then There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Another Time Rebirth of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Flesh Blood of My Blood. The album, titled ... and Then There Was X was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rap Album category in 2001.
